DescriptionThis is a balloon back arm chair which has two Dutch grooved feet on two cabriole carved front legs. The back legs taper outwards towards the bottom and extend a little above the seat. The seat frame has rounded edges. The front edge is serpentine and molded. The seat is heavily padded and is covered in a gold colored brocade material. There is a gold gimp around the bottom of the fabric. Curved, molded arm stumps extend up from the front legs and the arm rests are padded and covered in the gold fabric. The arm rests attach onto extensions of the balloon back. The balloon back is carved and molded. There is a padded back rest covered in the same gold fabric. The same kind of gimp is attached around the outside edge of the fabric. The bottom of the balloon back secures onto the extended legs. There are casters at the bottom of the front legs.
