DescriptionFlat, bird-shaped silhouette with head turned to left. Body merges into pendant wing's tail. Design outlined with long rectangular fragments of bone which also form tail feathers, eye, & beak. Rest of design is filled in with turquoise chips. Undecorated square of wood projects beyond head and is pierced with transverse hole. Poorly executed piece probably for tourist trade.Status
