DescriptionThis chair has two front legs which are flared at the bottom and two vertical stiles from foot to crest which are also flared at the bottom. Between the front two legs there are three stretchers which are vase turned. There are two stretchers on each of the other sides which are also vase turned. The seat is a saddle seat comprised of three pieces of wood. Screws attach the seat to the stiles. Underneath the sides at the back there are two small brackets attached to the seat and stiles with screws. The splat on the back of the chair is missing. The crest rail has a curved shape and is attached to the stiles with doweled joints. The left stile has an extra piece of wood incorporated to even out the crest rail. The joints are all doweled.Status
