DescriptionWooden box painted black and covered in shells. On the top is a large cowry shell, surrounded by other medium sized shells. Around the top edge are small circular shells with larger circular shells in each corner. Around the edge of the lid are smaller shells, although many have fallen off. They have been attached with a red glue. On the front of the lid is a very small cowry shell with a long thin shell on either side. Small shells have also been attached to the base with the red glue although many have fallen off. There is a piece of hardware on the front, a key hole. Inside there is a mirror on the lid which is surrounded by thread. The lid is attached to the base with hinges. Paper surrounds the inside of the base. There are spare shells inside.
