DescriptionDescription according to an article by John Myers Myers in the October 31, 1968 Tempe Daily News:Non-commissioned officers of Company C, National Guard of Arizona, taken in 1893, about time [Curtin] Miller converted [Tempe] News to daily. He is seventh from left, the corporal, behind drummer boy. Miller later became a captain.
