DescriptionPeace peddlers protesting nuclear issues. Caption on back reads: REST IN PEACE--Five members of Peace Peddlers began a three day stop in Tempe from their cross-country bicycle tour to demonstrate a concern about nuclear proliferation.
Tempe appearances are at the ASU Memorial Union Monday at 12 noon in the Apache Room and at University Presbyterian Church at 7:30 pm, located at Alameda and Rural.
The six member group of concerned citizens from Washington, Oregon and California have traveled about 1,500 miles so far as they zig-zag across the U.S. educatiing anyone who will listen on nuclear issues. They plan to arrive in Washington D.C. in mid October.
They are staying at the Tempe home of Jean Norman, 42 W. Del Rio, while in the Valley.
