DescriptionQuilt with hand-embroidered portraits of all US presidents up to Ronald Reagan. Portraits done in black thread on white. Signatures of each are included below the busts. Each block is a bust. Pieced red and white striped sashing. SOlid navy blue backing. Top hand-tied with white yarn. Poly-cotton and natural muslin fabric. High-loft synthetic batting. Made by the donor in evenings after work and chores. Was entered into AZ State Fair where it won a 3rd Place ribbon.Catalina Tobin was born and raised in Tempe, and lived her early life in the San Pablo neighborhood. She has lived in Tempe her entire life.
