DescriptionIt is an oil painting of Yee's Market, 1948, in Tempe in plain gold painted wood frame with linen insert (mat). It has a red, white and blue wire attached for framing. Building is reddish with the sky in the background. Different greens in the trees left and right. Dirt road in front. A dark figure sits in front at the bottom holding something rectangular. Had an attached biography of artist, now in folder. Gene Corno made this painting as an art student during one of Tom Harter's classes. He recalls the class walked north of campus into the San Pablo barrio to paint. A student can be seen in the foreground og the painting.
