ProvenanceMarie Rice has lived in Tempe since 1950. She was a teacher at Rural School and lived in Date Palm Manor (near Mill and 13th) for 44 years. Her husband, Ross R. Rice, taught Political Science at ASU from 1950-1989, was on the City Council and served as Mayor. All four of their daughters went to Tempe High.
