Description(A) Black, rectangular suitcase with wooden sides, clasps cardboard top and bottom, metal corners, locks and handle plates. Two straps of fabric webbing wrap around suitcase, attached with leather straps and fasteners, with gripper buckles and crimped metal tab ends. Lock and clasps have imprinted manufacturer's names. The interior is covered with grey and white daisy motif on screened paper. (B) Handle. Curved steel strap wrapped with paper and a thin covering of black leather stitched together along upper edge of handle. Hooked ends of handle fit into bails on edge of suitcase.
(C) Short leather strap similar to those used to fasten webbing straps to suitcase, with round rivets on either short end.
