DescriptionStevens & Co. Damascus double barrel 12 gauge shotgun. Tip up model. Serial # : Engraved on forearm receiver and barrel .875. Barrel: 76.2cm L. Damascus twaist design.. Rib has ornate design. On upper portion is stamped Stevens & Co. ,Chicopee Falls, Mass. Stock: 36.8cm L. Dark wood, smooth finish with grain showing. Butt plate is metal. There is a bad crack in butt stock. Mechanism: Black powder, external hammers. There are two separate trigger guards. A 3.8cm L. guard around one guard, which releases the barrels and a 7cm L. covering two triggers. The gun has two hammers. 1984 value $200 - $250. Appraiser Dennis Rothbard.
