DescriptionU.S. Marine Corps Good Conduct medal awarded to Luther Finley. The medal hangs from a bronze metal bar reading US Marine Corps. A red ribbon with a center blue stripe and a bronze rifle are attached to the bar. The medal itself, hangs from the rifle. It is circular, bronze, with an anchor and a chain. "United States Marine Corps, Semper Fidelis" is written around the center figure of a Marine at a wheel. On the back the circular border reads "FIDELITY ZEAL OBEDIENCE" around the center. Also written on the medal is: "No B - 3969 LUTHER E. FINLEY 1st ENLISTMENT 1940-1944"
