DescriptionThe black and white photo shows aerial view of Mill Ave and Ash Ave bridges in 1965, taken from north side. The Tempe Butte is prominent on left and flour mill center. The river water flows roughly from north bank and over the South Bank right to base of Mill Ave ramp. You can see a little of washed-out roads next to bridges. The Ash Ave bridge has no traffic and north end does not connect to road next to it. Two-way traffic is heavy on Mill Ave bridge.
