DescriptionFrom an article printed in Tempe Daily News dated April 20, 1971:

PONY RIDES - provided old-fashioned fun for Tempeans and visitors attending Sunday's picnic for pioneer and former citizens, held at Knights of Pythias hall - including these two younger generation members of Tempe pioneer families enjoying a ride with native Tempean Frank Meredith at the reins. The youngsters are Joanne Randleman (Left), great-great granddaughter of Joe Mullins, one of Tempe's earliest pioneers and great granddaughter of Mrs. F.C. Enright; and right Tim Moeur; a great-grandson of early day Tempe physician and former Arizona governor Dr. Benjamin B. Moeur.
