DescriptionThis picture shows what appears to be a walking tour of ASU for Japanese Students touring the City of Tempe and ASU.

From an article published Tuesday, March 19, 1974 by the Tempe Daily News (picture appearing with article not displayed here):

NO SUKIYAKI HERE - at Arizona State University’s Manzanita Hall cafeteria, but (from left) Ruriko Ura, Leiko Hashimoto and Yoko Hiki didn't mind the American fare, since it was all a new experience for them. The girls, students at Japanese universities in Kyoto and Kobe, are part of a group of 30 currently visiting ASU for English language classes and a first hand look at American culture, Arizona style. The students, under direction of John Weir out of ASU's Extension Office, toured the Phoenix area Monday, and will depart for home Thursday via Los Angeles, San Francisco and Honolulu.
