Biking Can Be Beautiful - Liz Smoots enjoys feeding the ducks swimming in the water as a group of North Tempe Girl Scouts, including Dawn Sells of Troop 725, Robin Rose, Cheryl Thompson and Robin Sells of Troop 367 explore the new Canal Park bike path, to be dedicated with formal ceremonies at 12:30p.m. Sunday. The Girl Scouts were just beginning an overnight bike hike to test the new bike path, a connecting link with bicycle paths in Tempe, Scottsdale and Phoenix.
