High school seniors Kathy Luttrell (left), of Marcos de Niza, and Erika Ripley (right), of McClintock, try to convince Mayor Bill LoPiano (center left) and Bob White, city recreation coordinator, they would look good in T-shirts bearing emblem of Tempe Youth Organization, club for high school age boys and girls sponsored by Tempe Parks and Recreation Department. Kathy and Erika were impressing the mayor and White with the fact that next week is "Teen Awareness Week."
