DescriptionFrom an article/photograph published by the Tempe Daily News, April 22, 1977:

Free Ride -

Tempe Diablos members Pat Nash (right) and Dr. George Calderwood (left) got a "free ride" - at least all the way to old Furr's Cafeteria building, 1000 East Broadway - when Theo LeBaron, of Dana Brothers Motors, turned over keys to that car to them Thursday. The car, donated by Dana's will be among prizes to be auctioned off when Diablos, special events committee of Tempe Chamber of Commerce, stage their second annual "Casino Capers' to raise funds for their sports and youth-oriented projects, Saturday. Auction will be a highlight of the Capers being held at the Furr's building. A 7 p.m. dinner and Las Vegas type games are on tap too.
