Tempe Jaycees and their wives' auxiliary Jayshees climaxed a busy year with a big night, Friday - their annual installation and awards banquet, held at Tempe Elks Lodge. Among those on whom the spotlight focused for the evening: (from left) Cecil Flentge, installed as new Jaycee president during the evening; Art Shane, honored with presentation of a life membership in Jaycees in recognition of his long outstanding participation in Jaycee activities; Jeri Bennett, recipient of Jayshee of the year award; Teresa Smith, new president of Jayshees; and Doug Lyle, honored as Jaycee of the Year.
