DescriptionFrom an article/photograph published by the Tempe Daily News, May 18, 1977:

New Crime fighter In Town -

Tempe should be safe from any and all hostile forces that may lurk around the area after Spider-Man - opponent of all colossal and dastardly evil criminals - entered into a crime fighting pact with Tempe Vice Mayor Harry Mitchell (at left), Saturday. Actually, it was all in fun as Mitchell; Ivan Henry (at right), head of production and entertainment at Tempe's Legend City; and children of Fun Time Foods caterers Pam Kulesza - Mark (left), Kristy (far right), and Douglas joined Legend City’s Mayor Dan in welcoming the invincible "Web-Slinger" for a weekend visit at Legend City. Spidey didn't do any wall walking; but he handed out lots of autographs during his Friday-Saturday visit.
