Focusing On Crime -

Arizona citizens joined law enforcement and judicial officials and politicians to consider the state's crime and fraud problems, and what to do about them at a Citizens Town Hall on Crime and Fraud held on ASU campus in Law College's Great hall, Saturday. Greeting guest speakers (from left) Isidore Starr, Scottsdale, of the American Bar Association special committee on youth education for citizenship, and Tom Clark, San Francisco, regional administrator of Law Enforcement Assistant Administration, are Town Hall co-chairmen Ruth Wooten and Eliza Carney, both of Tempe. Goodly number of citizens turned out for the day's activities, including workshops as well as major addresses by Clark and Starr. Introducing Clark was another Tempean, Ernesto G. Munoz, executive director of the Arizona State Justice Planning Agency (not pictured).
