Maricopa County Supervisor Henry Haws (at right) joined Guadalupe residents in honoring that community's first town manager, Bill Hernandez, jr., (fourth from left), at a party at Guadalupe Town Hall, Friday night. Hernandez put his last day in on the job Friday. From left are Guadalupe Fire Chief Henry Bandin; Juan Nieto, present to represent Biehn Colony board of trustees and to present Hernandez with an award from that board in appreciation for his services to the community; Bill Hernandez, sr.; Hernandez, jr.; Cindy Hernandez, niece of the now-former town manager; and his mother Anna Hernandez.
