Valley National Bank employees in Tempe, who contribute from their paychecks to a Community Services Fund all year-long, divvied up the money from that fund for this year to seven Tempe area agencies this week. And among those sharing in the contributions was PATH - Professional Aid to the Handicapped - which operates a dental clinic in Tempe for indigent mentally retarded adults. Receiving a check for that agency from John Salm (left), president of the Tempe VNB Community Service Fund and loan officer at the bank's Broadway branch, and Kris Fairey (right), fund secretary and utility clerk at VNB's Tempe main branch, was Carolyn Groom, PATH executive director.
