Meyer Elementary School Student Council president William West, sixth grader, presents antique curling iron and toy to Tempe Historical Museum curator Mrs. Peggy Burton as special gift to the museum from Meyer students during joint Veteran's Day and Education Week program at that school Friday morning. Special guest for occasion too was Mrs. Agnes Meyer (3rd from left), for whom school is named. Looking on are Meyer Principal Milton Zuroff (left), who was a student teacher under Mrs. Meyer when she taught at old Rural school here; and (right) guest speaker for the program, Tempe Vice Mayor Harry Mitchell.
