Members of the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Inter-City Committee came calling on Tempe and Tempeans, Friday. The group, which visits other cities for Goodwill tours once monthly, toured Arizona State University's College of Engineering and other facilities and Courier Terminal's new Tempe plant among other sites on their visit here yesterday - and invited City of Tempe and Tempe Chamber of Commerce officials to join them for lunch at Monti's La Casa Vieja. Among the 54 guests at luncheon were (l to r) Tempe CofC President Pen Johnson; visitors Norman Hanson and Ralph Feffer, jr., of phoenix; Tempe City Manager Ken McDonald, Mayor Bill LoPiano; and Western Airlines, Inc. , employee Doug Neely, who is president of the Inter-City Committee, but a resident of Tempe.
