DescriptionTempe Firefighters Local 1643 was a wee bit late with its $5000 Christmas present for the Arizona Children's Hospital, but ACH Auxiliary member Minnie DeVirgilio didn't mind a bit. Firefighters Vice President Jim Gaintner turned the Christmas check over to the auxiliary too late to be used for the annual Christmas party at the hospital on North Curry Road, because firefighters hadn't had a meeting in time to approve it. Funds will be used instead to provide for "little emergency necessities" that may arise for the hospital's young wards.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-F.
