DescriptionFrom a photo caption in Tempe Daily News Tuesday, February 21, 1978:Award Winners - A trio of adults shared the spotlight with award-winning Cubs when Cub Scout Pack 474 held it’s Blue and Gold Banquet at Marcos de Niza High School last week. Presented with honors during the evening were (l to r) Jack Hofmann. Pack's secretary-treasurer, who received the Honor Pack Award; Carolyn Barrie, a den leader coach, recipient of District Veteran's Day award; and Robert Pyrtle, pack cubmaster, presented with National Summertime Award. Other adults receiving special recognition awards during the evening included Tempe Daily News photographer Jan Young, Pack 474 institutional Representative John Welsh and Edna Maciekowich, principal of Arrendondo School which sponsors Pack 474.
