DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing in Tempe Daily News reporting a Truck/Train Collision, February 14, 1978: If the rain wasn't enough, a big ol' train had to come along and spoil Douglas Bigelow's day. According to police, Bigelow illegally parked his delivery truck over a couple of the tracks at 1300 East Eighth Street Monday afternoon. Officers said the Santa Fe Railroad train couldn't stop in time and dragged Bigelow's truck for some distance. No one was injured, however.
