DescriptionFrom a photograph caption appearing in Tempe Daily News June 12, 1978:

Right Man In Right Place - Steven Clary (in white shirt with back to camera) was the right man in the right place, Monday morning, fortunately for 27 year old Beth Hanley, 1223 West 15th street. A Tempe resident, Clary is a trained emergency medical technician and carries his first aid kit with him at all times. His presence and immediate response in providing basic first aid for Miss Hanley when her bicycle was hit by a car at intersection of 11th street and Mill avenue yesterday was commended by Tempe Fire Department personnel who arrived at scene shortly after. Reported in satisfactory condition at Tempe Community Hospital this afternoon, Miss Hanley suffered lacerations and a fractured leg. Her bicycle, westbound in the crosswalk at 11th, was hit by a car driven by a 16-year-old youth which approached from southbound lane at Mill.
