DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing in Tempe Daily News July 21, 1978:Going To Europe - Monica Sublett (right) aquatic pro at the Tempe Racquet and Swim Club, and former woman's gymnastics and track coach at ASU, will be jetting to Europe next week in her role as coach of the "combination" team of western state gymnasts and Canadian gymnasts to compete in the Gymnastrada in Hanover, Germany,. Pictured with the German born coach is artist, Norberto Coronado. His painting "The Eight Deer Warrior,” will travel with Monica and be presented as an exchange gift representing culture of the southwest.
