DescriptionFrom an article appearing in Tempe Daily News, August 18, 1978:

Vans Turn Into Recreational Vehicles - One of Tempe's newest businesses converts ordinary vans into recreational vehicles by adding a new interior. Tom Aune, owner of Aune's Warehouse at 2420 West First Street, says some of the additions he puts in van are a refrigerator, sink, cabinets, toilet, carpeting, paneling, high-back chairs, couch, windows, ladder in the back and a rack on the top. A person who wants everything pays $2,500 - $3,000 for it.

Aune's wife, Marsha and Jim Inderberg assist in the conversion work.
