DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing in Tempe Daily News, October 27, 1978:Halloween is drawing nigh, and there are more spooky goings on in Tempe than ever in this traditional season for antics by creatures of the night. Those two characters above are just a couple of a whole houseful of monsters, ghosts and goblins inhabiting "Haunted House" where Tempe Jaycees are providing a "chill a minute" for youngsters and adults brave enough to visit during the "witching hours." The Jaycees' Haunted House is one of a trio of Halloween season events being offered as an alternative to trick or treating for Tempe youngsters.
