DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing on Page A13 of the Applause section of the Tempe Daily News, Saturday, April 13, 1985:Team effort - It was a team effort all the way around when Tex Earnhardt, second from left, and sons Jim, left, and Hal presented Dolly Peralta, chairwoman of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with a $2,400 check to help the foundation with its work of fulfilling wishes of terminally ill children. The money came from an annual benefit team roping competition sponsored by Earnhardt at Chandler Posse Rodeo Grounds the day before the Phoenix Jaycee Rodeo of Rodeos began. Rodeo contestants, 120 of them, competed in the special team event.
