Puppy Love - National Nursing Home Week starts Sunday, but Corona del Sol High School student Stephanie Wilt is ahead of the week's effort to encourage visits with the elderly confined to nursing homes. Stephanie is a regular at Westchester Nursing Home in Tempe as a volunteer in a program which provides the elderly who no longer can have pets with cheering visits from frisky pups. Above, she shares a little puppy love with Westchester resident Edith Owens, age 90, a member of a pioneer Tempe family.
