DescriptionHot Stuff, from Tempe Daily News, March 15, 1986 - Tempe Lunch Bunch Lions Club member Lou Lust, left, stirs up a batch of chili for today's third annual All-American Chili Cookoff as KOOL-FM radio announcer Mike Farrell, looking dubious, reads the recipe. Chili chefs from throughout the state begin cooking up a chili storm in the Lions-sponsored competition at Tempe Holiday Inn, Rural Road and Apache Boulevard, at 8:30 AM today. From then until 6 PM, spectators will have a chance to taste-test the chili, vote for the best and listen to teen bands throughout Maricopa County vie in a "Battle of the Bands."
