DescriptionPortrait of Mrs. Lucas of Axtell, Kansas. Written on back "Mrs. Lucas of Axtell Kansas. She made the dress and underclothes on the doll of bisque which I recieved for Christmas when I was five years old. Small woman, dark brown eyes. It was at her house, I read Dante's Inferno when a very young child." Photo taken by McLeod, Atchison, Kansas.This object was part of the Ridenour Family photo album that has been split into individual objects incorporating object numbers 1987.1.1058 - 1987.1.1075, 1987.1.1077-1987.1.1089, 1987.1.1971, and 1987.1.2990. These objects are housed individualy since the album was disintegrating.
