DescriptionBi-fold menu shows Dave Harman roping cow while Belle leans over the fence with a sign that says, "Tempe, Arizona, a swell place to live". The back is designed like a giant postcard with a map of arizona on the left. Foods are described as cowgirl, cattle thieves, chuckwagon, range rider, cow puncher, wrangler, etc. Overall the food and restaurant theme is western. A full steak dinner in the menu was $1.25.
ProvenanceHarmon's Red Barn Restaurant on US Highway 60-70-80-89 between Tempe and Mesa, AZ, specializing in fried chicken and ranch steaks by Dave and Belle Harmon. Dave Harmon's brother Pete in Salt Lake City owned the first Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchise in 1952.
