DescriptionThis foldout phamphlet is white with colored ink. The cover discusses the concept for solving flood control problems in the Salt River bed and enhancing the Salt River bed from McClintock Road to 48th street. There is a map showing the proposed lake on the inside. A detailed discussion of the history of the concept is on the inside. The discussion identifies the sponsors of the concept as the College of Architecture at Arizona State University, Valley Forward Association, and the Maricopa Association of Governments. Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall (DMJM) architects, engineers and planners has made a proposal with three phases which are discussed and have cost estimates.
