DescriptionA home console version of the classic Namco smash hit, Pac-Man produced by the Atari company was forcasted to sell roughly 9 million units and bring in roughly 200 million dollars. Released with a price of 37.95, the game was critically panned and many copies went unbought. Buyers noted glitching ghosts as well as unfaithful redesigns of some iconic elements of the original (the background being orange walls with a blue arena versus blue walls with a black arena). Others noted the lack of pellets (swapped for tablets) and iconic Pac-Man sound effects. This version would eventually only sell 7 million units and the estimated profits are unknown.
