DescriptionThe first generation of the TRS-80 home computers created by the Tandy Corporation and Radio Shack (after acquisition of the latter in 1963). Originally the computer sold for $400 just by itself, however customers had the option to buy the computer alongside the monitor and cassette recorder for $600. Eventually accessories would be sold for the computer such as printers and memory expanders, as well as other "systems" such as the "Educator, Engineer, Professional, and Business systems" (roughly $1200-$3875).Status
