DescriptionBlack and white photograph of 1967 Memorial Day celebration at Pet Rest Memorial Cemetery, the first year the cemetery allowed Memorial Decorations. The photo is part of a Phoenix Gazette article and shows a girls group, The Bluebirds, in uniforms carrying flags, which were then added to all the graves. The event was also covered by Channel 10 news with over 500 people iin attendance.
