DescriptionA ceramic bowl. It is listed as St. John's Polychrome pottery in the archaeologist field checklist and the donor record. Its exterior is black and white on an orange base color, and the interior is black on orange, according to the donor record. The donor record says the bowl comes from the Four Corners region in New Mexico. It also says the bowl was used from 1200-1330, while the NAGPRA report says it was used post 1300-1330, so there is a bit of a contradiction here. There is another diference between the two forms over the bowl's culture. The donor record says its culture is Anasazi, while the NAGPRA report lists the culture as Zuni. Finally, according to the NAGPRA report, the bowl's cultural affiliation is also the Zuni, but the donor record remarks it could be the Zuni or Hopi.
