DescriptionThis is another photographic slide of ASU's Homecoming Parade in 1967, where ASU took on the Wyoming Cowboys in Tempe. The photo has two parade floats on a platform adorned in yellow that says 'It's A Devil's World." The floats on the platform itself are a bit difficult to make out, but the one on the right looks like a (sun) devil, similar to Sparky, the university mascot, while the one on the right looks like a stadium. Coming into the football game, ASU and Wyoming were vying for control of their conference, the WAC. ASU was 5-1 and Wyoming was 6-0 and ranked 8th in the country. The game was close, but Wyoming took the win 15-13. They ended up finishing the season 10-1 and undefeated conference champions, but lost in the Sugar Bowl. Meanwhile, ASU bounced back from this defeat to win three straight to finish 8-2, including winning the all-important Territorial Cup matchup versus Arizona.
