DescriptionBlack and white photograph of a rendering of a proposal for the Salt River, showing a lake and canals, with recreational facilities alongside the water, pedestrians on sidewalks and small bridges, trees and grassy areas. The 'lake' has buildings at the base of Tempe Butte with the top of Sun Devil stadium on one side of the Butte and Hayden Flour Mill on the other. Stamped on the back: "Tempe News, 77%, 1967, size information, caption: Salt River Proposal".
