BiographyRancher.Attended Arizona State Teachers College and the University of Arizona, where he received a degree in Agriculture.
Worked for MRP Company of Phoenix as foreman of their cattle feeding operation. In 1954, he founded the Benedict Feeding Corporation in Casa Grande. He also owned and operated the Bar D Ranch in northern Arizona and the LJ Livestock Company in Camp Verde.
He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Arizona in 1997 for his innovative feeding, handling, and disease prevention programs.
