Elected Constable, Tempe precinct, in 1904. Elected Democratic County Precinct Committeeman, Tempe Precinct #4, in 1916. Served as President of the Liga Protectora Latina Lodge No. 1, Tempe, 1915-1917; Supreme Vice-President of the Liga Protectora Latina, 1917; and was nominated for Supreme President of the Liga Protectora Latina in 1920, but was not elected.
Enlisted as a Sergeant in Company C, 1st Regiment of Infantry, Arizona National Guard, on April 24, 1893. By c1915 he had become a Lieutenant and was commander of Tempe's all-Hispanic Company C of the Arizona National Guard. He played on the Territorial Normal School football team in 1899.
Lived on 2nd Street in East Tempe (1910); 7th Street and Willow (College) (1911); 307 E. 8th Street (1914); and 305 E. 6th Street (1918,-'23, 1924, '28, '29, '30, '31, -'32). In 1922 sold general merchandise, in 1923 was a grocer at 702 Center. In 1928 was a truant officer.
