DescriptionThe oval wooden plaque with a brass oval plate has a small photo of James Howland, signatures of president and director at bottom. The award was presented to City of Tempe "on behalf of the national league of cities in recognition of contributions made to the enrichment of the urban environment through the 'Rio Salado Project'." Under it are two logos and "Presented on the occasion of the 80th Annual Congress of Cities - Nashville, Tennessee. December 2003."Status
