DescriptionRealistic portrait of Howard Pyle in greyish brown jacket and red tie with white shirt fades into varigated background. The frame is molded antique white with a gilded and red dry-brush look. It has a wooden matt with linen look and gold pant on inside edge. There is a plaque "To Howard Pyle, presented by Farmers Insurance group National Safety Council, 16 January 1964". It is signed Gene Anthony. Back of frame toothed picture hanger, unpainted. It has sticker with artist's company. There are 2 torn papers stuck on back. Maker: Gene Anthony, Portrait Painting. Origin: Simi, California (320 Laguna Terrace).
