Photo shows music venue Nita's Hideaway.
Nita's Hideaway was opened by Professional Rodeo barrel rider Nita Craddock in 1975. In the 1990s it became an important live music venue for local bands as well as many touring bands. It relocated in 2002 to a building at Southern and Price after it was announced that the location on Rio Salado would be redeveloped into the Tempe Marketplace. The new location of Nita's Hideaway didn't last very long.
