DescriptionFrom an article/photograph published in Tempe Daily News, June 30, 1977:Collector's Dream -
Display case, bookshelves, wall and a cabinet top display many of the artifacts collected by the Brooks over the years. On glass countertop are (from left) trade beads, Padre beads found in a pot in Sacaton, Russian trade beads and shell beads. Assorted pots fill the display case, and mingle on bookshelves and cabinet top with shaped and polished rocks used for grinding food and as tools for other purposes by Arizona's early Indians. In frames on wall are ceremonial pieces, used to run buffalo off in canyon and slit their throats - and usually buried with a chief.
